Hi,

I tried installing the KSP plug-in on two machines and have the same error:

"HTTP Response 404, Object Not Found".

We are running our mail server at port 3000 (we have a web server at 80). It doesn't seem to help if I add the port number to the server address.

Is there a way to get the KSP to work with a server at a non-standard port?

Thanks!

Donald

I think I read somewhere in this forum that this beta release only connects to the standard port 80. I believe once the final product is out you are able to connect to other ports.

Okay, we set up a new IP for Mailserver to talk to KSP on port 80 and ...

1) I now have 10,704 duplicates in my Contacts folder! It made hundreds and thousands of copies of a 20 or so contacts out of about 1300 total.

2) Also, none of my public folders (calendars and contacts) synched. Has anyone else made this work yet?

3) And, synching appears to fail if you do mass edits while KSP trying to sync.

4) The contact list is not sorted in Webmail with a very large number of entries.

Hi, I am testing the same KSP on the internal network, and am receiving the same http error
here is the results of the sync from the status box
01/06/2005 17:21:57 ; Info ; 53 ; Processing synchronization requests begun
01/06/2005 17:21:59 ; Info ; 28 ; Synchronization "./Public Folders/Contacts" begun
01/06/2005 17:22:02 ; Error ; 84 ; Http response 404, Object not found
01/06/2005 17:22:02 ; Error ; 42 ; Synchronization "./Public Folders/Contacts" failed
01/06/2005 17:22:02 ; Error ; 55 ; Processing synchronization requests failed

Annoying isnt it?
We need IMAP to work for our mobile users soooo badly,
we cannot migrate them over to KMS as they will not have any email access outside of the network, IE when they take their laptops home they cannot do anywork :(

Our issue was relatively simple, though a pain to setup: to use the current sync plug-in, you have to have Mailserver running on port 80.

It would have been a lot easier to solve if it were possible to add multiple IP addresses and ports under each of the services from the Kerio Admin GUI. As it was, we had to edit the server config file.

can say one thing
if the KSP works via the mailserver/web port, my clients cant even use the webmail due to their accounts being pulled in via active directory with smartcard lockdown, how on earth will this plugin work with Secure Pass Auth' and smartcard lockdown?
as it doesnt seem to work for me.
