Josh, because of this, can I assume once you upgrade to 6.1.0, you will not be able to downgrade back to 6.0.x if problems were to arise with 6.1.x when it is released.

The answer to this question will help me decide when I will upgrade to 6.1.x when it is released.

Thanks for any info you can provide :-)

Actually, I'm assured by our developers that a downgrade to the 6.0.x series is possible and transparent.

I haven't tried it myself.

What about the metadata.pag files? Do they continue to grow until they no longer fit in the backup, or has that been corrected? Also, what impact on size does the recreation of the mail database have?

Thanks

Joshua,

Can you elaborate on what is being done here? Is the mail storage scheme still saving each message as an individual file or are they going into a database of some type?

Thanks

After the upgrade, I cannot start KMS, however I see an error # 1053. Did someone experience this? Can someone help?

Thanks!

Make sure you've restarted the server (rebooted) after the update.

If you've still got this problem, grab all the logs out of C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store\logs, make a .zip out of it, and send them to support<_at_>kerio.com along with the other information.

Hmmm OK I see, so the installer should be changed and ask to reboot instead of asking to start KMS. ;-)

Thanks!

I have copied 2 user folders of 6.0.x with aproximately 80 Mb data each one, I've deleted all the *.fld files and I've created manually 2 user with the same user name of the imported ones. It seems to be functional. Can be this the right way?
