Hello everyone.

here's a bug we have since the early days of KMS 6.0

i think this only apply to linux version.

we're using KMS 6.0.10 on fedora core 1

When creating a new user, if the login name contains capital letters, stats and quota are null/ignored.

The server create the user's directory with lower case.
when attempting a logon with this user , the logon works but the stats are not updated and the quota can exceed the limit without notice.
Only users created with lower case are updating their stats.

i guess it's missing "to_lower(loginname)" in the stat function.

A temporary fix for this:

Delete and recreate user in lowercase, the data will be kept and stats will be shown again.

Can someone confirm this ?

Regards

Massimo

Did you submit a bug report to support<_at_>kerio.com? If you did, they should have given you a bug tracking number. If you have this, I can see what the current status is.

If you haven't reported it, please do.
