Hi,
I have got a problem with Guild Wars and WinRoute Firewall (newest version). I have already tried to forward the needed port (6112 UDP&TCP), but it still doesn't work. Whenever I try to install Guild Wars it tries to download some patches, but my PC doesn't get any data.
My PC doesn't have a firewall (also the WinXP SP2 integrated firewall is disabled).
When I launch TCPView during this "patch downloading" I can see that a connection is established to a server from guild wars, but my PC doesn't receive anything else.
I can remove the port forwardings, it doesn't matter, still the same happens...
I used these settings http://free.pages.at/goauld/guild01.JPG

the guild wars service:

Maybe anyone here has experienced similar things and knows what to do (maybe data is blocked by something)

Pls help me, I bought Guild Wars yesterday and I still can't play Sad

First disable the incomming rule and create a new rule (as the first rule):

name: guildwars test
source: 192.168.0.111
dest: T-Online
service: any
action: allow
logging: packet (and connection)
translation: NAT default outgoing
protocol inspector: default

Now try Guildwars on the client (192.168.0.111) and check the filterlog of the firewall.

"***.***.***.***" is my IP adress

As far as I can see on these information it seems as if at least a few packets get to my PC or maybe they are blocked anywhere else.

Edit : I just want to add that the Guild Wars Patch Download works on the server machine, so it must be a problem with WinRoute Firewall.

Edit No.2 : When I launch emule using the tcp port 6112 it works fine and I get a HighID. In the filter log it looks nearly the same as with guild wars... so what doesn't my PC get any data from Guild Wars but from emule although the port is the samè ?

Now I managed to get Guild Wars to work.
It was a wrong MTU setting on my PC that maybe made Guild Wars not to accept the packets. However, now it works without a problem.
Thank for help ! Smile
