hi all,

I wanted to know whether its possible to have a template with a password set for that template. It would be nice to be able to import users from AD and have all of them assigned a default password rather then blanks...

**future feature for KMS could be change password on first login.. would be cool... esp for web users.

If you import users from AD, you don't specify a password, or use templates. It uses AD groups and the AD password. Forcing them to change password at first login at KMS would affect their network login password.

not if you have authenication with the internal database right?? you could import users from AD and have them authenticated using KMS internal DB. which is what I plan to do. I have a template set up but would like to have all users assigned that template for a specific domain with a default passowrd for that template... catch my drift??

I don't wanna use kerberos 5 authenticatio....
