Hi

Experiencing this error message upon trying to install KOC on a Windows 2000 machine.

"Setup failed to modify environment settings. This application needs to modify PATH settings to work or uninstall properly."

Running MSOffice 2000 which is updated to SP3, currently have KOC semi installed but not showing as a service, only appears in Add/Remove programs and I am unable to Re-install or remove KOC as this error always appears at the end of the installation wizard.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Did you check the environmental variables on the machine? The KOC install adds a system variable called KOCInstallPath which points to your KOC installation directory. It also modifies the PATH variable to include %KOCInstallPath%. If those aren't present, you could try to manually add them and see if it'll work.

I just had another thought. Did you use an account that has admin rights on the machine?
