I tried Winroute and I liked it. It is simple and you can do a lot of things.

But what are exactly all the benefits of Winroute over ISA?

Thanks in advance.

I'm new at firewalls, but I have both ISA and KFW on separated machines to backdoor my internet connexion.

KFW
- low-ressources
- Simplier to admin but powerfull
- But not well documented (chm helps files)
- Seems to have a better cache

- ISA is too much confusing (too much fonctions)
- Powerfull and easy to admin w/ good help/docs files
- higher ressources needs

Thanks for your replay. I must choose between ISA and Winroute to Firewall/Share/Restrict the internet connection of a company and wanted to hear some experiences with both products.

Thanks again.

If you dont need to publish MANY internal webservers through KWF, I suggest you use KWF. Publishing only one serbver is easier, but many is more complex for me at this time.

Its firewall/share and restriction setups/admin are easier while powerfull.

Serge.
