Hi all
I try to use Kerio Mail server but i found some bugs and there aren't some important features .

I use Rh Fedora 3 ( server )
Os X server 10.3 ( server - Apple Open Directory )
Os X 10.4 with entourage 2004 . (client )

I configure Kerberos on linux macine.
I install KMS open directory schema on Apple Open directory server
I configure Kerio mail server 6.1 To access on AOD.

I add an user .. work fine
I try to access .. don't work
- in Error log : users.cpp: Unsupported authentication type for user ....
I substitute in /opt/kerio/mailserver/ldapmap/
value :

And work............

I don't undestand why email address must be the same of login.
I create another email address over the same user.
I try to login whit imap and work fine
I try to login whit exchange server ( entourage ) and it doesn't work
Error: erage_reqPropfind.cpp: PROPFIND: User pippopipponis<_at_> can not list folders in: ~pippo.pipponis<_at_>
I think this is an entourage bug . Apple "Mail" work fine.

- Why all user can access Web mail ?
- Pop3 download can't leave message over the server
- Use another smtp if directly derivery don't work

I hope my English is comprehensible

Entourage04 doesn't support Kerberos logins, OSX Mail does.

You may want to contact Kerio to see if it is wise to import users from OD as I believe there are a few bugs. I think that there was a patch that fixed multiple OD names, which could be what you are experiencing.
