We have about 1 in 100 who are unsuccessful at replying to the authorization sent to them when signing up for a mailing list. Has anyone else experienced such issues? See below:

Mr. Hildebrand:

This is a standard procedure for signing up to any internet based email list.

I'm sorry you have run into such issues. The problem you are experiencing is outlined below:

Notice above where it says Reply-To: d932c83 <_at_>

That string of letters and numbers is your activation code, our server registers it and activates your account when you reply to that long funky email address.

According to the email above, your reply was sent to: ulv95818<_at_> (no key code)

Instead of: d932c83 <_at_>

Since there was no key code, the server thinks you're trying to post a message instead of activate/register.

This can happen because of a number of reasons:
-Your email client stripped the key code
-You manually typed in the address instead of using the "reply" button -The key code became corrupted as it traversed your mail server or mail client

We have had over 5000 people sign up for the list, and only about 1 in 100 experience an issue such as yours. In that case we manually add them to the list.

We notify of all air spraying via interactive maps on the homepage of our website ( If you want to be notified of ground-based spraying and the email method is not to your liking, you may call us at anytime and find out if your zip code is scheduled to be sprayed by ground.

If I can be of further assistance please feel free contact me at this address.
