Hi, there is a bug that month and day names are missing in some languages. We are fixing it. It will be fixed in some future version.

No, just company information policy. It's in fact fixed but I'm not able to tell which version will include the fix, until it is released.

OK then you're just avoiding commitment...!

If it's fixed then why on earth would it not be in 6.1.1???
Make realistic promises rather than just never making them...!

We did, and people shouted at us for breaking them. It seems that this has no solution :-)

Be assured that we work hard, currently there are over hundred bugfixes in webmail alone since 6.1.0.

If people shouted at you for breaking promises then that's because they weren't realistic...

There is a solution & it's called honesty...

It's one thing to have a problem with announcing things that are still being worked on - I can see the point of that. But when the fix is done and dusted, what possible benefit is there in not saying that it will be in the next version, even if the release date of that version is not committed to?

- it doesn't pass testing
- marketing/management decides to release different set of changes in next version

-> broken promise

Anyway, I have no power to change company information policy, other than commenting on it to my boss. So I'll better go back to work than discuss it here :-)
