Gang --

We have several mailing lists that we use for "group aliases". We do this because we want to be able to control who is able to send to the various groups. In short, we don't want anyone outside our organization sending to the dozens of users who are reached internally via our "allstaff<_at_>domain.com" address.

However, we've noticed some strange behavior when someone is using ACT as their email client (which actually uses Outlook somehow).

Basically, if I send to the mailing list "office.staff<_at_>domain.com"....and an ACT user replies to me, the message instead goes to "X-Envelope-to: office.staff-owner<_at_>domain.com" and then lists all the folks that are defined on the MODERATORS tab of the mailing list.

By the way, I have the mailing list set to "Reply to Sender" but it's as if ACT is replying to "Sender Plus Mailing List."

I'm not suggesting this is a KMS problem.....I just wanna know if anyone else has seen this behavior before and if there's a remedy.

Thanks,

Ted
