Ok I have the server setup and everyone can send receive emails to internal and external addresses fine.

However since I'm a nice guy and we have a little bit of turnover in our staff I'd like to keep old email addresses for a while and forward them onto the new addresses.

So in user properties I setup a forwarding address, tested it and nothing happened. I changed the forward to address to be a local one instead of external and it worked.

I also tried using an alias to forward the email on, again if the forward to address was internal it worked fine, external ones didn't seem to.

Can Kerio only forward internally or am I doing something rather wrong?

All my (Kerio) mail is forwarded to my private (home) email address just fine, so it's not that it is 'impossible'.

I do not know why it wouldn't work for you, there's nothing special to be done, I think. I just added my home address to the forwarding tab of my user configuration.

It could be your ISP's smtp relay server.

The from address used is the original destination so there may be relaying protection stopping this...

That actually makes alot of sense, and was pretty much backs up my suspicions that it was due to a remote server. Thanks for the help.
