I have two questions regarding Kerio Mail Server v6.1 (Linux):

1. Is it possible to include cbl.abuseat.org in the spam lookup server list? I tried to add it, but it didn't seem to be blocking emails listed on their database. This may be because their service replies with an address of 127.0.0.2 if is it in their spam database. Can Kerio be used with this service? It is different to the average open relay database, as it lists hijacked computers with infections that are sending spam.

2. Is it possible to call an external command line service when a mail is received? For example, to send an sms alert when mail is received (possibly restricted to some users, but the external application could filter that). Otherwise I will need to write a script to constantly check the mailbox using imap or pop3 for new mail, which is both resource-intensive and could create a delay in the trigger of new mail.

Thanks

That should work. I personally use

xbl.spamhaus.org

which includes cbl.abuseat.org among other BLs.

Please check that one out. If it doesn't work for you, you might have a DNS / setup problem.

No, I haven't found an api specification from Kerio or a function that would let you trigger a command on mail arrival. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Maybe you should contact Kerio support directly for this.
