Dear Friends,

in my mail server my integrated antivirus scanner is not working . all software working fine but antivirus is unable to update + scaning .
help me friends

I have the same problem. I have a full lisence version of McAfee even before I install the the server. But he refuse accept that I've even have a lisence, and wont start.

Which version of KMS are you using on which platform. Any error messages in the logs?

Without this information, it will be very difficult to help you.

I use kms 6.1.0 patch 6, server running on a win xp box sp2.

Do you have a proper license for McAfee antivirus in Kerio MailServer? KMS uses integrated version of McAfee scanning engine, other McAfee products cannot be used for scanning e-mails in KMS.

Explain integrated version of McAfee scanning. I have a normol copy for home networks of McAfee, is't that enoth. And yes I have lisence for it, if you read my post a bit higher up. I dont say it just bcuz it fun!!. BTW, I have my AV set to scan all incoming mail, is't that enoth, without having the anti energy going, just a thouth..

Dear Friend,

i use kerio 6.1.0 . i am using Symantec Corporate version 10 in my computer . i want my kerio server use his own antivirus not my Symantec antivirus software. but i my kerio antiviris not working so i use my Symantech webmail check option for scaning mails . it is slow , how i configure symantech antivirus for checking only incoming mails not outgoing mails.
and also help me to activate my mcaffee .

I think there is a bit of confusion here.

You cannot use a client side AV product to scan KMS Server Mails. So, if you are using McAfee professional 2006 10.026 this is not working, you have to exclude the kerio store folder to avoid problems.

instead

you must use either the built-in McAfee KMS scanner, or one of the supported server products. (you can find this on the config screen under "Anti-Virus".

For the built-in McAfee KMS scanner you must buy a license from Kerio and then enable it. Then you will get rid of the message at startup.
