Hallo,

My neighbour allows me to use his WLAN for internet access. This works fine on my laptop, but I would like my PC to be able to connect to the internet, too. After days of disappointing work with the windows tools I decided to use a routing program and found Winroute.
I installed my PC and Laptop exactly as specified in the help of WinRoute, but when I select my WLAN device in the settings-panel, internet stops working. As soon as I change it back to my LAN-Adapter it works fine, again.

Technical data:

WLAN
Notebook: Automatically assigned and working fine, IP changes, Gateway 192.168.99.1

LAN
Notebook:
IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: (empty)
PC:
IP: 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Winroute settings:

(o) 2nd network adapter (Intel PRO Wireless adapter)

Advanced settings:
LAN Adapter: Realtek LAN Adapter, IP address: 192.168.0.1

(v) Enable DHCP server
From 192.168.0.2
To 192.168.0.20

(v) Enable DNS Proxy

(o) Forward DNS queries to DNS server automatically...

Port mapping:
(empty)

Security
(no option checked)

As mentioned, the problem is that, when selecting the WLAN-device in "Settings" as Network Adapter, my connection to the Internet breaks down.

I'm usingg Winroute Lite 4.2.5 evaluation version (until it works Wink)
