Hi,

Does anyone have any idea why when I share my default Calender in Outlook with somebody (either via Outlook 2003 calender properties or via Edit access rights... menu in web interface) that user can't see my calender, neither can open it with Open shared calender... in Outlook 2003. It doesn't appear in the other users's web interface either. When I make a calender in public folders it appears everywhere automatically.

Is there a way to share the default Calender? (I would think so, because there's this Edit access rights... item in the menu)

Did that user subscribe to your folder?

The other person has to subscribe to your shared folders.

They have to right click on their email address (in Webmail) and do 'Subscribe shared folders'.

Alright, we've figured out this much. So "Open shared calender..." option in Outlook 2003 doesn't work yet? And I think I saw here somewhere that there's no way to name the calender's after the user First and Last names, correct?

The option to open shared calendars in outlook is for when using exchange server so will never apply to KMS.

There is also an unsupported tool which will allow renaming of the calendars to their owner's name.

do a search for it on the forum.

Please also be sure that you are using the Folder List view. If you are using another view this will not display the subscribed calendars correctly.
