Let's say the LAN of my VPN server is running on is 192.168.0.0.

And let's say I am at home, behind a Linksys router, the LAN is also configured for 192.168.0.0.

I am connecting fine to the VPN server from home, but I have changed my home's network to 10.10.2.0 and of course I am now able to ping hosts on the 192.168.0.0 network at work fine.

Question is, is there any way around this? I would guess not, right? This may be problematic for me for alot of VPN users have home configurations using 192.168.0.0.

Is my only alternative to change the LAN at the VPN server to something other than 192.168.0.0?

I am thinking this is what I will have to do, just wanted to see if there was anyway around it.

Connecting two lan's with the same addresses is not possible. It is also not possible to have two same ip addresses in a lan active at the same time.
