Hi Everyone.

Is there a rule, an advanced configuration, or setting in Winroute that can automatically / intelligently block users from using ANY proxy bypasser websites and programs?

I notice from another public forum that they posted a HUGE list of proxy bypasser websites so people can use them to trick firewalls to access sites that would be previously block by Winroute.

Comments would be appreciated.

Ciao!

You could block traffic on the proxy ports (3128? 8080?). Better yet, only allow traffic on ports you want (80) and block the rest.

Of course, if these proxies are running on port 80, it becomes more difficult. Maybe the only real solution is block the proxies IP address, but since the list is huge, that may be a big problem in itself.
