Hi there,

While using wizard, on step 7 I am requested to use or not NAT. My question is, if I disable NAT, will I be able to provide internet access to the local network or not?

Thank you

Depends on your (and your ISP's) network architecture. Most probably you should use NAT. In doubt: contact your ISP.

Thank you.
My Satelite ISP, has provided me with a private IP address I use to connect to their systems, and two DNS servers IP.

As you know usually the ISP's does not talk very much about their infrastruture and they even talk about software used by clients. I believe it will be dificult to obtain this information from ISP.

Do you believe that the incorrect use of NAT (using or not) can affect the functiolnallity and the frequently "connection to server xxxx failed (server is not responding)" messages?

Another question, is there any way I can test the configuration with NAT and test it without NAT without the need to reinstall KWF?

Thank you very much

You need NAT.

If you want to test with and without nat you can edit the traffic rule and enable / disable nat for that rule.
