I'm debuging a kerio mail server 5.7 setup.
It works for sending mails to yahoo, gmail etc but for some mail server,
the out going mails will rejected or treated as junk.
Is there anything to do with the mailserver configuration?
Thanks

Why are you using version 5.7? Please upgrade to 6.1.1 patch 1.

As far as an answer to your question, it could be that the sender's IP address or your mail server IP address is listed in a spam database. It sounds like the remote mail server is marking your messages as spam, so you would need to find out from they why that is. It also could be that your domain does not have SPF and Caller ID DNS records.

I don't know what SPF and Caller ID DNS records are. Must be the problem, can you explain? Thanks a lot

Your best bet is to Google the terms and read up on them. There are various websites that can assist you with setting up SPF and Caller ID DNS records for your domain.

Another thing to check is that your mailserver's IP address has a reverse DNS entry - this is required for delivery to AOL, for example.
