Active mode FTP doesn't allow for NAT traversal. So what you want is impossible.

Disclaimer: AFAIK Smile

(Work around: do it from the KWF machine itself, then there's no NAT...)

Yes, it is possible to use active mode in FTP. This works by default for standard FTP port 21.
There are two ways how to do it for non-standard ports:
  1. Create a service with custom port and set protocol inspector to FTP
  2. Create a new traffic policy rule for particular server and port and set protocol inspector in this rule to FTP.

That is odd.
Kerio: is this a known bug or 'feature'?

This is correct. How could KWF know that there is a FTP server on port 2112 if you did not set it up?
FTP statistics is counted for traffic handled by FTP protocol inspector.

Sure, KWF would need to know on what ports FTP is active.

I assumed the active/passive mode FTP was causing the logging/not logging... my mistake.
