I currently use the Kerio Outlook Connector (6.1.2) remotely, so I can use it whereever I go. The problem is, like with everyone, it's very slow remotely, lots of messages get stuck, Outlook stalls, waiting on messages to sync, etc.

Is there a way to syncrorize Outlook to Kerio without using the connector. A way that would be as fast or almost as fast as your standard POP/SMTP connection? Any help would be much appreciate.

If it's only about email, you could use IMAP when outside the LAN. This would be very fast and leave your mail store intact.

Or, use the (IMHO) excellent webmail. For me it's pretty fast wherever I am (ok, maybe not from a dial-up, but thankfully, the last time I had to use dial-up is years and years ago ;-).

I even use webmail 95% of the time from within the office...

I would use the webmail, but outlook has a really nifty plugin from Cloudmark called Spamnet - or something like that (I think the name changed). I get a lot of Spam messages, but with that plugin, I go down from about 100 junk mails a day, to about 2 or 3, which coincidentally makes it very important.

I would have to agree with that last question. Use the built in spam controls. Using the blacklists, Caller ID, SPF, Spam Repellant, a few custom rules and Spam Assassin, we get little spam.
