can kerio clean up mail folders that have really old email in them? we also have some users who never check there email and that has left us with some folders with 2gbs worth of old email.

so is it possible for kerio to auto delete email that is X number of days old?

It would be a nice feature, but I don't believe that it is currently built into kerio.

You can do this from the file system if you are proficient with scripting, though you will also have to remove the index.fld files or you will receive a ton of errors as the index.fld files will not be aware of the deleted emails.

You could also reset the user's passwords, log in as them and clean out the mailboxes, though this is a major PITA.

It might be simplier to implement a policy to where if you don't check your email for 30 days, your account is disabled, and after 90 days the account is deleted. If email mattered, then surely the users could check it once a month...
