Ok guys got a bit of a problem... mistakenly someone had sent out a BBQ party invitation to users and the bloke included some folks that weren't supposed to get it.. anyways he asked me to delete the e-mail from the folks mailstore which i did (being the nice guy iam :-) ) but now I noticed in the log something along the lines of :

mail_folder.cpp Cannot open message ..... can't find specifed file.

is there any way to remove that message ID from a index for that user or reset index??? or something...

Anytime you make a manual modification to the #msgs folder, you need to re-index that folder. To do this simply rename the index.fld file to index.bad. The next time the user accesses that folder, the server will re-index all of the .eml files and rebuild the index file.
