Has anyone tried it? How is the long awaited bandwith limiter? I don't have a spare box to test it and won't be trying it on the live server.

Quite strange implementation of BL. Some settings are very flexible but one minus - it's impossible to set different shaper's settings for different users/groups.
As I understood the main idea of BL - there's only one set of BL settings and you may apply it to certain services/IP group/Time interval. One set of setting for all.

Seems you need a bandwith shaper, not a bandwith limiter (which is, in some sense, a subset of a bandwith shaper).

Hi,

Could you provide some more details?

What operating system are you using?
What platform hardware?
What network devices?
How much traffic passes through your WinRoute?
Did you enable the new bandwith limiter?

Cheers,
Joshua

SSL-VPN idea:

I realy appreciated SSL-VPN and in KWF 6.2 is realy nice, that I can limit SSL-VPN to only selected user Wink

Now there is only think I'm currently missing about SSL-VPN:
It would be nice (for users) if admin can PRE-DEFINE bookmarks for every users. Users are used to network share mapping as virtual drives (i:, o: ,...), so I would like to make the same mapping for SSL-VPN. It can be done via bookmarks... But it have to be some kind of GLOBAL BOOKMARKs. Will this be possible in short feature?

You can have McAfee and an external antivirus at the same time. But not two external antiviruses at the same time.

Unfortunately for me, for some strange reason the external antivirus option doesn't work. Sad
