Greetings!

I installed the Trial version of KWF on a Windows 2000 Server but ist doesn`t work. Only the transparent Proxy is working.
With Winroute pro is works fine if i disenable DNS forwarding.

Are there special options to take to make KWF run on a Windows 2000 Server machine or is KWF not compatible?

Thanks for Answers

Could it be that the problem is the Active Directory? My machine provides a Domain-Name-Controller/Server with Active Directory enabled.

Dear colleague,
look for TCP/IP settings of internal network interface - especially for settings of DNS. Because you have ADC on machine with WRF, settings of DNS server IP must be on this interface the same. For example, internal IP is 192.168.1.1, so primary DNS server on this interface must be same - 192.168.1.1
In the user verification process against AD will be queried also internal LDAP database, and internal DNS integrated with AD provide also some important informations /so that´s reason of this DNS set-up/.
In internal DNS server enable also forwarding DNS for resolving internet requests.
I hope, it will be ok.
