Hey all,

One of my users just asked me about something strange in the way messages that we sent out are getting formatted. It seems to show up on every message when the source is viewed. I'd never heard of it before, so I wanted to ask about it and see what it meant.

Here's what's getting added:

boundary="----------respect-the-roots-f4239515e86d71e92235951c6b41149f"

------------save-the-trees-e7ad6f9717c074be298a221bee93608d--

boundary="----------flower-power-5d60d597ddfaadcb6e20e38df91ff9d6"

boundary="----------peace-on-earth-6cc42396981d30a97f2fc03ab8159963"

There may be some others, but that's what I could find right away just looking through some old messages that have been sent internally. Mail coming in from the outside doesn't seem to have anything like this. It seems to only be in messages that are generated from Kerio.

Any ideas on where this stuff is coming from, or how to prevent it from being added?

Running KMS 6.1.1 on a Linux server.

Thanks.

The boudnary is just supposed to be some random string. So having these phrases there really does not matter ('flower-power' is just as random as 'fa5fb829c9d5'). Probably just some happy programmer in Kerio's development team. Other people have reported this also.

On the other hand: it's not very professional... some people might even consider it political. So I would like for Kerio to make the strings pure nonsens again.

Yes, it may be considered unprofessional or political, so we are going to remove the phrases.

Anything we can do to remove them manually in the meantime before the next patch/version is out?

Nothing, sorry. There's no workaround.
