We using russian version of KMS on Linux Slackware (system locale is KOI8-R). We have strange problem when recieved mail with attachments, witch contain files with non-ASCII filenames.
We trying to open attachment by clicking left-button mouse in Web-mail, then appers browser dialog "Open - Save As - Cancel". Selecting "Save" shows standart win-dialog with save parameters, but filename very strange -- possible other encoding.
But clicking right-button mouse, selecting "Save Target As..." give right file names. And web-mail interface correctly displays file name in mail.
No other problems with encoding.

Best regards

Please note that Slackware is not a supported operating system, so you would not be eligible for technical support.

This is a problem on any operating system. Browsers are not capable of handling filenames with special characters in some situations. We are trying to find a solution.

The only known workaround is the one you describe: right-click and "Save Target As..." in Internet Explorer.
