I understand the lack of KOC to work offline and waiting/hoping for this feature into new KOC version, here is my question: Is it possible to use both KOC and POP3 into the same Outlook profile?
I ask this because my target is to let my users to use all the funcionalities of online calendars, tasks and contacs while at the same time not to force them to have all the emails online (i definitively don't want my custumers to use webmail or KOC as mail store, i want them to download with pop3 and to save locally the mails)
thanx

Yes, you can use KOC and POP in the same profile.

Thanx for the reply.
I've successfully set KOC and POP in the same profile and seams to work well.
p.s. i set not "kerio store" but local store
One doubt is about alarm notifications of events, tasks etc.
It doesn't popup or sound while it does online on webmail.
any idea?

You will only get notifications from the task/calendar locations in the default message store. In this case, your PST for the POP account, which doesn't contain the tasks and calendar items.

Also, doesn't the KOC have issues if it's not the default message store when there are multiple accounts? I thought that was a non-supported configuration.

Yes, it is a non-supported configuration. It causes all sorts of problems.

whatever it actually works but i decided to do something differente cause 2 accounts are too much confusing my users so i said them to create a local folder (phisically on pc not Kerio Store) and to move important messages in there.
In this way they can access their mails also offline.
Ofcourse this is a patch for the temporary lack of KOC to work offline, i've already post a tiket for this feature
