I assume there is a text fiel somewhere that keeps the custom spam rules. i.e. When I go into the admin console, under spam and add a custom block by domain rule. Are those kept somewhere where I can edit it without going through the GUI?

Also what Blacklists do people like to use? Do you use all the default lists included with Kerio? Do you use none or some mix of them? I don't want to potentially block good email, but I need to block more spam.

I haven't found the thumbs up, thumbs down in KOC to learn anything, so I am now try to combat spam in a more manual way. Thanks!

The custom Spam rules are stored in the file

mailserver.cfg

under the header of

<list name="Header Filter">

I have good results with the following Black lists:

I block mail from the following lists
list.dsbl.org
rhsbl.sorbs.net
bl.spamcop.net
sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org

For the following I only add score as it lists dynamic address ranges and some people might send legal mail from that addresses
dnsbl.sorbs.net

Regards, Pascal
