We pull our Kerio accounts from an Active Directory server. Currently it does not pull any of the demographic information on any of the users, I understand that Kerio is not able to do so.

So, is there a way to import the demographic information manually to the server so the LDAP pull from Kerio has that information? We really don't want to do double entry.

Thanks.

1) What 'demographic information' do you mean? Please be explicit.

2) If KMS has this information, what do you want to do with it?

What is your ultimate goal in all this, that makes you want to do this?

We would like to have all the physcial addresses including phone numbers, job title, birthday etc. available on our mail clients and webmail. Ultimately be able to have all that information at the fingertips for our staff.

Currently as an admin I can put all this information in manually via the Kerio webmail client. We do run an AD server with this information.... would be nice to be able to import vs. doing all the data entry again.

Thanks.

How? You are creating a public contact item for each kerio mailserver user, and populating the fields (address, phone #)?

So, what you're asking is, you'd like on import of AD user to have the created public contact to have the attributes auto-populated?

This is a good idea, I will file a product suggestion.

How? I'm going to the public address book and can enter the information manually via the webmail client.

Yes the feature to self-populate the information would be great... but I already know that...

My question is, since the demographic information doesn't self populate is there an easy way to import the information from another source?? csv? vcard?

We are evaluating KMS for our organization, but the double entry of all demographic data that is already in Active Directory is a sticking point.

When will this be available?

Thank you,

Mark Gray
