Hello there,

I'm running KWF 6.2 on a Win2003 box. There behind lives a ubuntu breezy linux box. Since 6.2 I can't no longer update my distribution (apt-get upgrade). I'm getting "Size mismatch" errors with nearly most of the file apt tries to download. Without the http protocol inspector its working fine.

greetings,
jens

I am having the same problem when viewing CNN Pipeline streams, MSNBC video clips or playing Amazon.com music sampler clips. The problem is reproducable from multiple client systems behind WinRoute as well as the WinRoute firewall itself. I reported the problem to Kerio Support, they are apparently unable to reproduce the problem and also state that no one else has reported the problem !?

I ended up downgrading from 6.2 to 6.1.4 Patch 2. I can now watch streams again without any problems. I am now waiting for Kerio to acknowledge and fix the problem before upgrading.

Did you happen to submit a ticket? Kerio support is now asking me for 6.2 http protocol debug information, which I cannot give them as I have reverted to 6.1.4 Patch 2. If you are still running 6.2.0, perhaps you can give them this info so they can resolve the issue.

Regards,

James

I've also experienced a small protocol inspector problem since the latest KWF. On one particular site we can generate Excel reports. The downloading of these Excel files does not work. The download seems to start ok, IE wil ask where to save the file, but then nothing happens. No actual bytes will be received and the download window will just stay open waiting for data.

I've created a workaround by creating a special Traffic Policy for this particular site with the protocol inspector turned OFF. Then all is fine.

I will submit a ticket on this later.

Sorry for answering so late. Yes, I submitted a ticket, but have only got a confirmation yet.

I' m still running 6.2. What exactly do I have to do?

Jens

This issue should now be resolved in KWF 6.2.1.

Still not fixed in 6.2.1. Still cannot use CNN Pipeline or Amazon music sampler or various other streams such as MSNBC.com, etc. beyond the first stream, subsequent streams/clips fail.
