I've inherited support for a server running Kerio mailserver 5.7.10 (along with the firewall).
I know nothing about Kerio so hope someone can help with an error in the logs of:

[05/Apr/2006 11:35:11] mail_folder.cpp: Cannot open mail file C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\store/mail/%domainname%/%username%

It is trying download a message that is not there. Have browsed to the message store and it is empty. Mail sending and receiving fine but Outlook throws another error everytime it starts due to this problem. How can I clear this please.

Any help much appreciated.

Peter

Version 5.7.10 is old and out of support.

Try to update to the latest version 6.1.4 if you have a licence which is valid for updates.

If your customer need the fax-server function: don't update. 5.7.10 is the last with an fax-server included.

I have a customer in service which uses also 5.7.10 because he needs the fax-server...
It looks like a broken index file. Workaround:

Stop Kerio
Rename all all index.fld files to index.old
Start Kerio
Try to access an folder of the mailadress (best via Webmail)

It should rebuild all index files.

Outlook:
Use Imap and re-sync. all folders from the mailserver
Use POP3 and wait some time until the Server has rebuild all indes files.
