Has anybody tried the latest 11.2.4 update for Entourage? I am wondering if there are any issues with KMS.

With cursory usage in Exchange mode I have not noticed any changes. In fact, I can't find a single Entourage bug that has been corrected (including the time zone error, and contact management in LDAP lookups). I guess that's what happens when your company only accepts bug reports that are mailed to:

Attn: Entourage 2004 Development Group
Microsoft Corp.
1 Microsoft Way
Redmond, WA 98052

Yes, postal mail. Or you can pay $200 to talk to a professional services rep, who MIGHT refund your money if he's convinced it's a bug. Of course, I could be missing something - or, just bitter. :-) Did I just rant? Sorry!

Cheers!

Okay, found a problem that's worthy of note. I doubt it's specifically Kerio related. I have a user indicating that a calendar printing problem that existed in an older version of Entourage 2004 (overlapping appointments on printout) has resurfaced since the update to 11.2.4.

While testing the problem with my copy of Ent. 11.2.4 I found I couldn't print a calendar at all (on clicking print, the dialog would vanish with no further activity). Worse, I tried printing directly to a PDF (in the OS X print dialog) and saw all my events vanish from the calendar. I quickly quit Entourage and fortunately, all my events were still there on relaunch (Phew!).

If I find fixes, I'll post them here.

Cheers,
Lyle Millander

I have noticed that all calendar items 'disappear' in 11.2.4, although they are present still in webmail. Viewing other users calendars is not a problem!?

I listened to the Entourage/Exchange Webcast last week, and Entourage's Program Manager is accepting feature requests :

Don't forget to say your priorities (server-side rules support, etc.).

I wonder if I can disguise a bug report as a feature request...

Thanks for the feedback guys.

"Event and computer time zones do not match" error is presumably resolved in the Entourage 2004 11.2.5 update released today.

The time zone error is truly gone.
Other than that I have not noticed any other changes.

Entourage 2004 11.2.5 on Mac OS X 10.4.7.
"Exchange" mode account.
Palm sync with Microsoft Handheld Sync 1.5
KMS 6.1.4

Cheers,
Lyle
