Hi, I’m new to using mailing lists. I’m setting up a list on our server to distribute a weekly inventory listing to the public (they have to sign up obviously, it’s not spam)

The mailing lists in Kerio look like a perfect fit - I’ve only got one oddity, when a user signs them selves up for a list they receive a ‘Automated message: You are subscribed’ email with information regarding help and unsubscribing. This is great, except that it also has directions to reply and post new messages, something we don’t allow the public to do (denied it from the admin console).

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change this message so that it only has the information we want rather then boilerplate text. I know I can add a comment to the end of the message, but that doesn’t really solve the problem.

The messages can be customized by going to C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\reports\en (or your language code)

and editing the mlist-* files.

Cheers,
Joshua
