I am enjoying my trial of winroute up to now, but am noticing one problem. I have a 30mb/2mb connection. Whenever I hook up the winroute box, and point my desktops to it, there is a significant speed decrease. I go from downloading 3.20 MB per second to about 1.10.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing, or something I need to do to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I disabled the firewall, and found the speeds returned, so there is something definitely up with the software, not my machine. Just thought I'd throw that in.

There are speed-issues with KWF, however, they are not supposed to occur below 30-50 Mbit. So your 30Mbit should not be a problem. Of course, provided the machine on which KWF runs is sufficiently fast.

Also, the're reported problems with Realtek-based network adapters and KWF, so steer clear from those.

Hum, I do have a realtek in there, also, I tried it with an Intel card and seem to be getting the same results. I've tried turning off Antivirus, URl filtering, etc. They do not seem to make a difference.

Hi,

Can you please submit a support ticket? http://support.kerio.com, then Submit a Ticket.

We will want to get a bunch of information from you, because this is an issue we can never reproduce inside our labs.

Thanks,
Joshua
