hello guys.

i use DHCP server provide by kerio winroute firewall.

and i have setup the scope. the dhcp server is fully functional, and assigning ip address to client when i set:
source = any
destination = any
service = DHCP/BOOTP

the problem is, i want to filter the source and destination so that only the connection from private network to the server is allowed. if i set all any, means any computer can get dhcp, and outsider (from internet) also can see my dhcp port is open. so how can i filter so that source is only come from internal network?

i have try to set source = network connection to interface which i choose local area connection and destination = firewall, but it doesn't work.

i hope you guys can understand. thank you

hehehe. seems like you guys can't understand my question, or don't have an idea what i'm trying to tell, or simple don't have an idea.

by the way i have solve this matter. to allow only internal network arrive to dhcp server:

source: Local area connection and firewall
destination : firewall and local area connection
service: dhcp/bootp

since this connection is both, outgoing and incoming.
just for your information. thank you for viewing my topic.
