Is it possible that IPX packets are transmitted through the VPN tunnel created between the VPN client and a KWF? In other words, is it possible for the user running the VPN client to use applications that need IPX, wich are running in the server?

AFAIK VPN is an IP-only protocol.

For example with Novell, you can encapsulate IPX packets in IP packets. How this works exactly, I don't know. It's probably not very easy. It may not even be wise.
