I discovered that users were only publishing 2 months of data on the free/busy server. I see that it can be increased in the Outlook client, but I am wondering if it can be increased server-side so that the modification doesn't have to be made on each client.

Okay, my topic had 60 views, but no replies.

I figured out that I was viewing calendars of users whose calendars I had subscribed to. I had changed the Free/Busy options to publish Free/Busy information for 12 months. I could then click on their calendar and see an appointment that they had beyond the original default of 2 months. I don't know if changing that setting made the difference.

However, if I use the Free/Busy service to set up an appointment with a user beyond the original 2 months (where is that set up by default?), it shows that they are free, even though their calendar shows that they have an appointment during that time. It does show them busy if it falls within the 2 months.

What am I missing here?
