Hi all,

Does anyone here uses a program that control the access of network cards by its mac-address ?

we have wireless and besides we enforce encryption some users just put the configuration on another laptop and keep using the network without the authorization.

I tried some programs that control access (firewall usually) but it consumes a lot of processor with Kerio Winroute... does anyone here use any program to limit the network just to a known list of mac-address ?

This is also a good suggestion for the next Kerio Winroute Firewall, you guys should think to put mac-address access control instead a "traffic policy" just for IPs .. anyone can copy the IP address of another machine and use that.

Ok, I do know it's very easy to change a mac-address, and most network cards come with the function to change it from Windows hardware control, but, let's put things a little harder.

Thanks for all.
