Hi all, I noticed that from Outlook (any versions) if you write a new message and select the from field you can send messages using whatever from name you want and Kerio Mailserver allows you to deliver this message.

If you check in all logs file you will never find the faked from address. If I want to migrate to Kerio I need to prevent people to send messages with the "from" field different from their email address, do you know how can fix this problem?

Thanks

It's not a Kerio option, it's an Outlook option, so I don't think there's anything in Kerio that would affect it.

You could disallow the From field with the Group Policy template - assuming you use Active Directory. There's a setting under User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Microsoft Office Outlook <version #> -> Disable Items in User Interface -> Predefined that will let you disable the menu options to enable the From field.
